Celebrity Feuds
Star Jones -- The Plot Thickens!

The founder of Full and Fabulous says Star Jones stiffed her organization and partied on their dime -- and TMZ has the documents that seem to prove her point!

According to Sharon Dumas Pugh, Full and Fabulous hired Star to speak at their function during the Super Bowl. She says that for nearly ten months they sold dinners, did car washes and even found sponsors to help raise the cash to bring Star to Motor City. We're told they also sold tickets for the event, but when Star was a no-show, they had to return ticket money. As first reported by Steve Wilson of WXYZ, Sharon says they gave Star a $10,000 deposit, and sent her an additional $6,000 -- which Sharon told us Star claims she never received. TMZ has obtained several emails and letters that show the back and forth between Sharon and Power Performers, who brokered the deal. Oh no they didn't!

They also purchased first class airline tickets from NY to Detroit for Star and her husband, Al. Sharon was thrilled when she scored a great deal on the tickets, only to be disappointed when Star or her representative, apparentlyStar Jones upset with flight times, changed the tickets without Sharon's consent -- and charged an additional $900 on her credit card! Sharon says Star then reneged on the whole deal and used those tickets to promote her book (check out the picture!), party it up during the Super Bowl, and not show up at her event.

Sharon has won a $20,000 default judgment against Star, but hasn't been able to collect because they can't afford an attorney. Now we've learned Full & Fabulous is throwing a bowling party to help raise funds to hire a lawyer so they can recoup the money they say they're owed.

TMZ obtained the contract for the event between Star Jones and Power Performers that ndicates if the "event purchaser" fails to pay the $25,000 appearance fee, Star is under no obligation to proceed with the appearance and she can retain any amounts paid to her or on her behalf -- such as plane tickets. The contract also indicates a $10,000 deposit was to be paid by August. We're told that payment wasn't made until January.

94. It is nothing new like black people in New Orleans who always look for freebie. Remember the levees broke after Hurricane Katrina, the city was under the water , those people looted the stores for freebie goodies . I never forgot that on my own eyes on TV. so I returned New Orleans and pack everything and left New Orleans for good. I am tired and sick of freebie people like Star who is freeloader.

96. A classy star would've not only donated her time to this type of event, but probablly made a monetary donation to them as well, instead of not only charging them, but on top of it hot showing up and refusing to pay the money back! Plus that huge amount she stole from them was only an upfront deposit, I wonder what the full figure she had negotiated to get paid was. She is so greedy, how could she sleep at night or spend that money knowing how she stole it?

99. As much as I do not care for Star and would love her to fall on her face. Sharon did not comply with the contract. This is her loss, not Star's.

104. Whether Star had a legal reason to wiggle out of her contract, i.e. didn't arrive on time, contained a typo, wrong typeface, didn't fit, blah, blah; it no way mitigated her moral and public obligation to these women. Star could have earned great kudos with her audience by displaying her self-professed good will and shown up anyway. Her actions have cost her tremendous PR credibility.

Two years ago, I was working as a photog asst at a premiere women's magazine, and we had a major film star scheduled for a cover shoot. Although she showed up slightly late, she was delightful. We sent her the proofs for review, and she rejected them, per her contract addendum. I don't know why, she looked gorgeous. Anyway, two days after she rejected the cover, my Editor received a check covering the two first-class tickets the magazine had sent her, the signing bonus (which she really didn't have to do) and a generous renumiration for all of us who had worked so hard on the shoot. Classy, beautiful, Oscar-winning and still in high-demand. Star should take some lessons from a REAL STAR.

105. She got her advance money. She could have showed up and donated the rest to charity. Or
been patient and waited for the ticket receipts. Star you are revamping yourself after the
View, why deal with this when you could have donated your time. You spend more
money than that on your shoes and your husband. Your rep is worth more!
